TR46SP SNA /Pressure Telemeter

The sympatetic nerve activuty (SNA) and Pressure Telemeter (non-Millar catheter) is ideal for use with animals 200 gm and over, in particular rats. The SNA nad Pressure telemeters are specifically configured for measuring sympathetic nerve activity together with blood pressure.

Unique features include:

  • 12 independent transmission frequencies
  • 8 kHz sampling of SNA signal
  • Input range +/- 60 microvolts
  • pressure signal sampled at 500 Hz
  • telemeter signal transmission range of up to 5 m
  • includes an 8 cm fluid/gel filled catheter

The SNA and Pressure Telemeter is used with the TR162 SNA and Pressure Master Receiver Controller, TR162SUB SNA and Pressure SubReceiver and TR802 Wireless Power Supplier.

The Telemeter is supplied with one syringe of TRgel for gelling the fluid filled pressure catheters.

We recommend purchasing the SNA Consumable Pack (TRCsbSNA) which is required to implant the SNA/Pressure telemeters. The pack contains:

  • Sample electrode leads for practice surgery
  • atraumatic glass hook
  • silicone elastomer for embedding nerve/electrode assembly
  • 0.75 m of 6-0 suture materialSurgical items are supplied non-sterile.

An optional accessoy is the Pressure Consumable Pack (TRCsbBP) which can only be used with fluid/gel filled telemeters. Tha pack includes:

  • a 0.5 ml TR gel for regelling pressure catheters
  • tissue adhesive
  • 4 introducers
  • 2 m of 4-0 suture material and needle
  • swabs
  • swab sticks
  • absorbent surgical spears
  • skin stapler
  • surgical mesh.

NOTE: The SNA/Pressure Telemeter is not compatible with the TR180 SmartPad or TR190 Configurator.
